RNSG 2400 - Intermediate Concepts of Clinical Decision Making I

This course is an integration of previous knowledge and skills into the continued development of the professional nurse as a provider of care, coordinator of care, and member of a profession, The course emphasizes clinical decision making for clients in medical-surgical settings experiencing health problems involving fluid and electrolyte disorders, respiratory disorders, peripheral vascular disorders, immunologic disorders, liver, biliary, and pancreatic disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, and endocrine and metabolic disorders. Included in this course is a discussion of knowledge, judgment, skills, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. Prerequisites: Admission into the program.
