EDUC 1200 - Effective Learning

Addresses the knowledge necessary for college success; develops the skills necessary to study and learn; and develops competence in finding information and resources. Theoretical models of strategic learning, cognition, and motivation serve as the conceptual bases for this introduction to college-level student academic strategies. Students develop educational plans and use assessment instruments (e.g., learning inventories) to help them identify their own strengths and weaknesses as strategic learners.
