RNSG 1412 - Nursing Care of the Childbearing and Childrearing Family 4 Hours (3-4-0) Study of the concepts related to the provision of nursing care for childbearing and childrearing families. Application of clinical reasoning processes and clinical judgment, including a focus on the childbearing family during the prenatal, perinatal, postnatal periods and the childrearing family from birth to adolescence; and competency in knowledge, judgment, skill, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. This course lends itself to a blocked approach. Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of all RNSG courses from the previous semester - traditional option.
