EDUC 1100 - Effective Learning 1 Hour (1-1) The psychology of learning, motivation and the factors that impact learning are studied. Students will identify their own strengths and learning styles and improve learning potential in other courses. Theoretical models of strategic learning, cognition and motivation serve as the conception basis for the introduction of college-level student academic strategies. Students will use various assessments to help identify their own strengths and weaknesses as strategic learners. Students will also be expected to integrate and apply learning skills discussed in the course. Critical thinking will serve as the foundation for various thematic approaches using a variety of academic disciplines. Click here for course scheduling information.
