MUAP 1274 - Percussion Instruction II

This course is a continuation of Percussion Instruction I. This course offers students individual instruction on a percussion instrument at the advanced level, and is available to all college students regardless of academic major. It is designed to provide music majors and other qualified students with the skills necessary to perform artistically in a variety of performance settings. Instruction is offered on the following instruments: drum kit, marimba, snare drum, timpani, vibraphone, or xylophone. Students receive one 50-minute private music lesson per week. Daily practice is required. Prerequisites: MUAP 1273
