This course is a continuation of Jazz Improvisation I. It is designed to provide music majors and other qualified students with an introduction to jazz improvisation. Through selected readings, recordings, and daily performances, students will actively engage the history of jazz through their instruments and intellect. Prerequisites: Instructor’s permission
