The Child Care and Development Program offers students an in-depth study of children. The curriculum is designed to develop basic skills, attitudes, and competencies necessary for working effectively with children in group settings. Students learn by observing and participating in the on-going activities of the Midland College Helen L. Greathouse Children’s Center and Midland College Child Care Center at Manor Park. The Centers provide the necessary lab experiences which are required for all child development courses. ProgramsAssociate of Applied ScienceCertificate
