MATH 0370 - Basic Mathematics


3 Hours (3-0)
Students score between 310 and 335 are encouraged to take an alternate evaluation to improve their placement.  This course is designed to develop and review the arithmetic and pre-algebra skills of students. It may be taken either as a terminal course or as a preparatory course for MATH 0371  . The topics to be covered are addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of numbers and fractions, decimals, ratio and proportion, percent, exponents, square roots, measures, and introductory algebra concepts.
