The Information Technology (IT) program prepares students for careers in desktop support and troubleshooting, computer network installation and troubleshooting, database design and administration, and computer programming. The curriculum is designed to develop skills, attitudes, and competencies for achieving employment, upgrading existing skills or preparing for further study at a university.
The IT program offers students an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Information Technology with an emphasis in Network Systems Management or an emphasis in Computer Programming. Students can also receive certificates in the following:
- Cisco Networking (CCNA) Certificate through the MC Cisco Networking Academy
- A+/Network+ Technician
- Database Management (Oracle)
- IT Support Specialist
- Computer Programming
