ITNW 1351 - Fundamentals of Wireless LANs 3 Hours (3-1) A course in the designing, planning, implementing, operating, and troubleshooting of wireless LANs (WLANs). Includes WLAN design, installation, and configuration; and WLAN security issues and vendor interoperability strategies. The class will explain wireless technologies, topographies, and standards; design, install, configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot wireless solutions; and implement wireless security using MAC filtering, WEP, LEAP, EAP, and 802.1x technologies.
