The Core Curriculum is a set of courses that provide the knowledge, skills and educational experiences needed to succeed in higher education. Midland College’s 42-credit-hour core will transfer to any Texas state college or university and satisfy 42 credit hours of that institution’s core curriculum requirement.
Midland College requires that graduates of the following degree programs complete the Core Curriculum:
- Associate of Science in General Studies
- Associate of Arts in General Studies
- Associate of Arts in Teaching
- Associate of Science in Criminal Justice
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Services Management
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education
In order to complete the Core Curriculum, students must meet the requirements shown for each area.
